Marleen Duffy is a RKMRI Medical Reiki Master who trained in New York directly with Raven Keyes , the founder of Raven Keyes Medical Reiki International (RKMRI). Marleen became a Reiki Master over 20 years ago and has since enjoyed not only doing one to one Reiki sessions but also teaching all levels of this Healing modality.
Marleen believes Medical Reiki is the way of the future. She is actively pursing the implementation of Medical Reiki in Hospitals in Ireland.
'Meeting Raven and being introduced to Medical Reiki has been inspirational. Medical Reiki has really hit home to me on a deeply personal level as my own mother , Linda, who also practiced Reiki , passed away on the operating table. To know that Healing can now take place in the OR is not only a gift, but it will also be deeply comforting for patients and family alike.
Medical Reiki is a new protocol in the practice of Integrative Medicine. It is practiced according to the Gold Standard and Best Practices developed by the late Raven Keyes after her 20 years of bringing Reiki into the operating rooms of some of America's top surgeons, including Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Sheldon Marc Feldman.

REIKI IN IRISH HOSPITALS
Medical Reiki Ireland have been involved with The Reiki Federation of Ireland on a pilot of Reiki Complementary Therapy in the National Maternity Hospital since June 2019 .
For many mothers, the positive experience of pregnancy is overshadowed by stress, anxiety and depression. A Patient’s psychological well-being plays a significant role in her coping mechanism during pregnancy. In the National Maternity Hospital, they take a holistic approach to patient care.
By the end of the first phase of this pilot, 91 patients participated in the program and 88 feedback forms filled. 97% of respondents reported positive experience after the session and 100% respondents recommended Reiki to be offered to the antenatal and postnatal patients.
